Rovers Medical Devices has engineered a new EndoCervex-Brush® which is designed especially for teens, young nulliparous women, or elderly women with a retracted transformation zone and/or stenotic entry of the endocervical canal. The EndoCervex-Brush®-S provides a stiff yet flexible head with over 200 separate collection hairs for the simultaneous collection of cellular material. A safety ring just below the bristle head will decrease the possibility of the Brush entering the endometrium during the collection process. The head of the brush is detachable after collection has been taken. The EndoCervex-Brush®-S can be used in conjunction with conventional cytology and liquid based cytology collection and transport processes.
